PhD

Prepare a PhD application with the GRE

Liwaza prepares the GRE for a PhD application. English is IELTS and TOEFL. The file, essays, interviews and funding follow the same coaching as a master’s or an MBA.

The admissions test

Many doctoral programs accept the GRE. The test path is the GRE, with a research file, essays and interviews built for the program you are applying to.

What the path covers

  • A profile assessment: schools, research direction, and the application calendar.
  • GRE preparation.
  • English on IELTS and TOEFL, with C1 as the aim.
  • CV, essays, interviews, and a funding strategy.

A diagnostic, then 2 months per level

We start with a diagnostic test. Moving from one level to the next takes 2 months of regular work with Liwaza. B1 to B2 takes 2 months. B2 to C1 takes another 2 months. That applies to IELTS and TOEFL, and to anyone who later sits the TOEIC or the Duolingo English Test.
